The eLearning Africa is calling budding photographers to participate in “Through your Lens” photo competition 2015. The theme of competition is “Digital Africa: ICTs enriching communities”. Photographers have to submit pictures depicting how ICTs are improving relationships between family, group or country members in Africa.
eLearning Africa 2015 will be taking place from May 20 – 22, 2015, at the African Union Headquarters, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The photo competition 2015 prizes include a tablet PC, a smartphone, and a digital camera. Participation is free and a selection of the submitted photos, including the winners, will feature in an exhibition at this year’s eLearning Africa conference.
The eLearning Africa is the largest gathering of eLearning and ICT supported education and training professionals in Africa, enabling participants to develop multinational and cross-industry contacts and partnerships, as well as to enhance their knowledge, expertise and abilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Photography students, ICT enthusiast, amateur contributors, or professional photographers, all are welcome to participate.
- Participants from Africa and rest of the world are eligible to apply.
How to Submit?
Applicants are requested to submit their photo, along with a brief description, and description on how communication tools and information technologies are revolutionizing how they learn, work and share information, ideas and projects. Photos can be submitted via the eLearning Africa “Through your Lens” Facebook application.
