The International Visegrad Fund is calling proposals for Flagship Projects 2015 within the Visegrad 4 Eastern Partnership (V4EaP) program.
Budget proposals shall reflect the nature of the proposed project but shall not exceed €100,000. The fund’s support will not exceed €80,000.
Flagship Projects are meant to support reform processes, political association and economic integration with the EU, strengthen the institutional capacity, contribute to the development of civil society and the overall transformation of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine).
Project areas (pick one or more):
- Capacity Building
- Enhancing the sustainability of EaP civil society organizations by capacity building measures and assisting them to link up to international civil networks
- Training of experts and trainers enabling them to gain expertise and build capacity within their own country and/or region.
- Strengthening cooperation between civil organizations, local governments and small and medium-sized enterprises
- Supporting independent media and balanced media coverage in the countries of the Eastern Partnership
- Rule of Law and Good Governance
- Strengthening the capacity of civil society and local media in advocating rule of law and good governance
- Increase the “watchdog” capacities of civil society and media/ support of watchdog initiatives, fight against corruption
- Transfer of V4 Experience in Promoting the Integration Process
- Assisting political association and economic integration into EU
- Communicating the benefits of EU integration to the society and authorities
- Regional Cooperation
- Transferring V4 experience in regional cooperation
- Strengthening regional cooperation among the EaP countries and between EaP and V4 regions
Eligibility Criteria
Project proposals must involve organizations from all four V4 countries (Czech Rep., Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) and at least two EaP countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine).
