The Youth Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is currently accepting applications for its regional exchange workshop- Power of Entrepreneurship to be held on held on 27-31 May, 2015 at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
YSEALI Generation: Power of Entrepreneurship is a 5-day entrepreneurship regional exchange workshop for early-stage entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs (an inside entrepreneur, or an entrepreneur within an existing organization, who uses entrepreneurial skills to turn a new idea or project into a profitable venture for the company) from ASEAN between the ages of 18-30.
Eligible Countries
Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Philippines, Burma, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam.
Programme Structure
During the YSEALI Regional Exchange, participants can expect to:
- Go through the process of evaluating a venture/idea, making appropriate adjustments, and building a plan of action.
- Improve entrepreneurial skillsets such as marketing, fundraising, pitching, and more.
- Meet with expert mentors to get feedback on next steps.
- Network and collaborate with top young entrepreneurial leaders from ASEAN.
Benefits
Selected participants will receive:
- 5 day skill-building workshop alongside 50-60 young ASEAN leaders
- Roundtrip economy-class airfare from your home country to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (if not from Ho Chi Minh City)
- 4 nights of accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
- Ground transportation to/from airport
- All meals
- Compensation for visa costs (if applicable)
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be citizen and resident of one of the 10 ASEAN members states mentioned above.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Applicants must be member of YSEALI (If you are not yet a member, please register now for free)
- Applicants must be committed to pursuing and growing into a venture (as an entrepreneur) or inside an existing organization (intrapreneurs – an “inside” entrepreneur, or an entrepreneur within an existing organization, who uses entrepreneurial skills to turn a new idea or project into a profitable venture for the company)
- Applicants must be available to participate in the full length of the Exchange in Ho Chi Minh City (May 27-31, 2015)
How to Apply?
- Applicants must register for YSEALI membership (free of cost) and submit the applications online.
- Applicants will be notified of their involvement by 15 April 2015.
