The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in El Salvador invites eligible organizations to identify and suggest ways to work together to address key challenges in El Salvador and the region and that are aligned with USAID/El Salvador’s regional and bilateral activities for development.
The bilateral program area covers activities which are to be implemented in El Salvador, and regional program areas covers activities which are to be implemented in Central America defined as member countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA), or Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.
Award Information
Subject to availability of funds, USAID intends to provide an aggregate amount of up to $20 million to fund all awards. The United States Government intends to award a maximum of 11 awards with a period of performance between 1 to 3 years under this solicitation.
Eligibility Information
- U.S. and non-US organizations may participate under this APS.
- Civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, non-profit organizations, education and research institutions, private businesses, financial institutions, chambers of commerce, industry associations, foundations, entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, and other private-sector organizations are eligible to apply.
- Equal Protection for the Laws for Faith-Based and Community Organizations, and 22 CFR 205, participation by religious organizations in USAID Programs, are eligible to participate in USAID programs.
