The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) in collaboration with United States Department of Agriculture is seeking applications for its Agriculture Risk Management Education Partnerships Competitive Grants Program.
The primary purpose of the RME program is to provide U.S. agricultural producers and their families, as appropriate, with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to make informed risk management decisions that enhance profitability of their operations.
Focus Areas
- The RME Program will fund four regional centers nationwide
- Northeast Region RME
- North Central Region RME
- Southern Region RME
- Western Region RME
- The program will also provide a Risk Management Education Electronic Support Center to the above regions.

- North Central RME Center: $1,082,736
- Western RME Center: $1,082,736
- Southern RME Center: $1,082,736
- Northeastern Center for RME: $845,424
- Digital Center for RME: $355,968
Eligibility Criteria
Applications may be submitted by qualified public and private entities. This includes all colleges and universities, Federal, State, and local agencies, nonprofit and for-profit private organizations or corporations, and other entities.
