Application Process will open in July 2015
The Mo Ibrahim Foundation is currently inviting applications from African individuals for its Ibrahim Leadership Fellowship Programme 2015 designed to mentor future African leaders.
The Mo Ibrahim Foundation was established in 2006 with a focus on the critical importance of leadership and governance in Africa. The stated aims of the foundation are to “bring about meaningful change on the continent, by providing tools to support progress in leadership and governance. During the programme, the Fellows will receive mentoring from the current leaders of key multilateral institutions.
The 2015 fellowship programme is being hosted by the African Development Bank in collaboration with The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and The International Trade Centre (ITC).
Note the Key Dates
- Application process will opens in July 2015.
- The dead line will be in September 2015.
- Notification of successful candidate will be given by January 2016.
- Anticipated start date would be May 2016.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be a National of an African country.
- Applicants must have 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Applicants must have a Master’s Degree.
- The upper age limit is 40, or 45 for women with children.
