The European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) in partnership with Tropical Disease Research(TDR) is inviting call for proposals for its Clinical Research and Development Fellowship program with a motive of supporting researchers and key members of clinical trial research teams from Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) to acquire specific skills in clinical research and development through placements in pharmaceutical companies, product development partnerships (PDPs) and research institutions.
The scheme targets junior to mid-career researchers or clinical staff who are employed by a legal entity in LMICs where they are currently working on activities in the scope of EDCTP and TDR.
Placements are for a minimum period of 6 months up to a maximum period of 24 months.
Benefits
The selected applicants will be provided training and mobility activities in the field of pharmacy, disease prevention and research.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must :
- be from a low-middle income country.
- hold a post-graduate degree.
- have clinical and/or research experience in infectious diseases and be working for the last 12 months in a legal entity registered in a LMIC.
- have graduated up to 15 years prior to the submission of the application.
