The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and Arts Network Asia (ANA) with the support of the European network Trans Europe Halles (TEH) have issued the call for joint proposals from Asian and European arts organisations for the 5th edition of Creative Encounters – Cultural Partnerships between Asia and Europe.
The foundation will only partially fund the selected projects up to a maximum amount of Singapore Dollars (SGD) 25,000.
ASEM Countries – Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, the Lao PDR, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mongolia, Myanmar, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the Russian Federation, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Viet Nam, the European Union and the ASEAN Secretariat.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants and project participants should come from ASEM member countries.
- Projects should be jointly proposed by a minimum of 2 partner organisations (not individuals) from ASEM countries, with at least 1 partner each from Asia and Europe. Multiple project partners are welcome.
- Projects should take place between 1 April and 30 November 2016.
- Projects should include result-oriented activities that facilitate collaborations, co- productions, exchanges and dialogues between artists and cultural professionals from Asia and Europe.
- Project events should only take place in ASEM countries.
- Online projects have to be managed from ASEM countries.
