The International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) has opened the nominations for IPNI Science award with a motive of recognizing and promoting distinguished contributions by scientists involved with global ecological intensification as related to crop production.
The Award is presented each year to one agronomic scientist. It recognizes outstanding achievements in research, extension, or education which focus on efficient and effective management of plant nutrients
and their positive interaction in fully integrated crop production, enhancing yield potential, and/or improving crop quality.
The International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) is a not-for-profit, science-based organization dedicated to the responsible management of plant nutrition for the benefit of the human family.
Award Information
The awardee will get a plaque and a monetary award of US$5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Private or public sector agronomists, crop scientists, soil scientists, and food scientists from all countries are eligible for nomination.
