The Harvard University Center for the Environment is currently accepting applications for its 2016 Environmental fellowship program to tackle complex environmental problems from those applicants who have an interest in environmental research and received their terminal degree between May 2012 and August 2016.The University strongly encourages women and minorities to apply.
Benefits
The fellowship include a salary of $62,000 per year, employee health insurance eligibility, up to $2,500 reimbursement for travel expenses, and a $2,500 allowance for travel and other professional expenses. Number of fellowship is approximately six.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates for 2016 Environmental Fellowships should have received their terminal degree between May 2012 and August 2016.
- Candidates with a doctorate or equivalent in any field are eligible, and they may propose research projects in any discipline.
- Each candidate must secure a commitment from one or more Harvard faculty members to serve as a mentor and to provide office or lab space for the two-year fellowship.
- Candidates may have received their degrees at any university in the world. Foreign nationals are eligible for fellowships, though study at Harvard generally requires proficiency in English.
- Candidates who received terminal degrees from Harvard, and post-docs currently working at Harvard are eligible for the fellowship.
- Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
