Key Job Responsibilities
The Child Protection Specialist will perform the following functions-
- Support to programme implementation;
- Monitoring and reporting;
- Networking and partnership building;
- Innovation and knowledge management.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Advanced university degree in international development, social science or related technical field, or equivalent work experience within the field of Child Protection and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional work experience at the national and international levels in programme management, monitoring, reporting and knowledge management, in child protection or related field. Relevant experience on child online protection issues and related areas, in an international organization is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset.
