CHI Health St. Mary’s is now accepting grant applications from local organizations that aim to create a healthier community and prevent youth violence.
Through grant funding sponsored by Catholic Health Initiatives, CHI Health St. Mary’s has collaborated with United Against Violence to administer a grant funding a youth violence prevention program.
Mini-grants will be provided to start or expand projects or programs that will help United Against Violence reduce reported incidents of youth violence among youth age 10-17 in Otoe County. Such programs should provide youth with skills and supports to decrease youth violence, increase the percentage of youth participating in extracurricular activities, and strengthen community partnerships to promote primary violence prevention.
Grant Information
- The grant funding available for the program is $7,500.
- Organizations are encouraged to submit proposals in the range of $500 minimum to $7,500.
Eligibility Criteria
All applicants should be a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. This may include, but is not limited to, schools, churches, and community organizations.
