Submit your applications for SIMP! Sweden is considered to be one of the leading countries in sustainable business practice. Swedish companies play a prominent role in finding new, innovative ways to integrate social, environmental and ethical concerns into their core business models. But the challenges are global and we have a common need for sustainable development.
The programme comprises three weeks of intensive training divided into two introductory kick-off days in Asia, a two-week module in Sweden and a concluding five-day module in Asia, spread out over seven months.

Program Structure
SIMP Asia is partly funded by the Swedish Government and will be open to applicants from China, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The Swedish Institute Management Programme comprises three weeks of intensive training. The programme is divided into a two-day kick-off and two modules, spread out over a period of seven months.
- Kick-off: Welcome to the Swedish Institute Management Programme, Asia*, 1–2 April 2016.
- Module 1: Sustainable business strategies, management and responsible leadership, Sweden, 15–28 May 2016.
- Module 2: Corporate responsibility in practice, Asia, 5 days.
What the programme covers?
The programme fee is free of charge and costs related to accommodation, food and transport while in Sweden is covered by the Swedish Institute (with exception of one or two taxi fares and two or three meals). For Module 1, flight tickets to and from Sweden is also covered by the Swedish Institute. The kick-off and Module 2 will take place in some of the selected countries in Asia and each participant is responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel arrangements, including visas, to the location of these events. Costs for accommodation during the kick-off and Module 2 will be arranged and covered by the Swedish Institute.

Who can apply to SIMP Asia?
To apply to SIMP Asia you have to:
- Be in a senior position within trade, industry or the public sector with a minimum of five years of managerial experience
- Be in a position to drive decisions and have a mandate to influence the business strategies for your organisation
- Be interested in learning more about Corporate Responsibility as a tool for good management
- Be between 25-45 years old
- Have a good working knowledge of both written and spoken English
- Be a citizen of China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam.

Applications must be uploaded and submitted in the application portal. A complete application consists of:
- A completed SIMP Asia Application Form 2016 in English
- A letter of recommendation in English (no more than 1 page) from one of the reference persons
- An updated CV in English
- A recent photo
