BBC Children in Need is offering grant to charities and not-for-profit organisations through its Small Grants programme. The grant program is giving funds for children and young people of 18 years and under, experiencing disadvantage through:
- Illness, distress, abuse or neglect
- Any kind of disability
- Behavioural or psychological difficulties
- Living in poverty or situations of deprivation
The vision of BBC Children is that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and get chance to reach their potential.
Grant Information
Small Grants programme is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for amount up to and including £10,000 for one year only.
Eligibility Criteria
- Not-for-profit organisations that work with disadvantaged children and young people of 18 years and under who live in the UK, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
- If currently applicants have a Small Grant then they can apply for further Small Grant funding to keep running the same project or for a different project. Applicant will need to be able to provide convincing evidence of the differences grant has made to the lives of the disadvantaged children and young people have worked with.
- If currently applicants have a Main Grant then can also apply for a Small Grant as long as it is for work with a different group of children and young people.
