Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) is currently seeking applications for the eligible applicants for the post of Operations Lead in San Francisco, United States.
The Operations Lead will be part of BSR’s global operations team. BSR’s global operations cover advisory services, membership, collaborative initiatives and grants.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Operations Lead will perform the following functions-
- Team Management: Lead Operations team in execution of projects. Provide career management and mentorship. Build strong relationships with global operations and shared services teams.
- Staffing and Billability: Direct staffing for all consulting and grant projects. Analyze monthly billability for consultants and monitor global capacity. Provide insight and recommendations to the executive team for workforce planning.
- Operations Strategy and Implementation: Operations is focused on BSR’s people, projects, process, policies and systems. Use annual operational assessment to develop strategy and work plan for the year. Lead operations team in execution of all work plan milestones and ensure that operational changes are communicated globally.
- Systems Management: Work with IT to oversee systems implementation and adoption by staff including SharePoint, Salesforce and Intact. Lead analysis of potential new systems focused on project management and capacity forecasting.
- Reporting: Collaborate with finance team to ensure reports are delivered on time and accurately. Analyze monthly revenue and billability reports and ensure consultants understand the data. Lead execution of the organizational quarterly dashboard which included internal KPIs.
- Project Management: Lead project scope, work plan and management against key milestones.
- Engage with staff globally on operations questions, challenges and opportunities for improvement. Serve as the go to resource for operations related questions.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Passionate about BSR’s mission and above-mentioned focus areas.
- Master’s degree from top-tier program in business, operations or organizational psychology is a plus.
- Significant experience (5 – 7 years) in a high-performing, fast-paced and global environment.
- Significant project management experience.
- Highly organized with focus on planning, execution, and problem solving, and improving processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting guidelines and manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SharePoint, Dousing as well as experience with systems implementation is a plus.
- Well-developed leadership and people skills, including a demonstrated ability to enhance the skills and effectiveness of other team members.
- Ability to develop a deep level of trust among colleagues.
- Experience working and collaborating with senior level executive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
