The Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Capacity Building Program Manager, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Capacity Building Program Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of the AFI Capacity Building Program (ACBP).
AFI’s unique peer-to-peer learning model encourages and enables financial policymakers to interact and exchange knowledge.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Capacity Building Program Manager will perform the following functions-
- Oversee the implementation of the AFI Capacity Building Program, including evolving policy and practices, and building new relationships with AFI member institutions;
- Develop yearly strategic plan for Capacity Building program including key performance indicators and result matrix for the overall capacity building program.
- Develop new Capacity Building strategies and initiatives on the basis of the growth of the AFI network and the push for more Regional initiatives
- Tack project deliverables using appropriate tools;
- Provide guidance to Program Managers within the 4 Pillars of Capacity Buildings to ensure consistency in quality and delivery. The 4 Pillars are: Secondment Program (ASP), Joint Peer Learning Program, Trainings and Peer Advisory Services;
- Based on the applications, prepare Grants agreements and grant evaluation documentation, ensuring that both the strengths and weaknesses are clearly identified;
- Ensure that we are constantly acting as “knowledge brokers” for our members and supporting these institutions to act on this knowledge;
- Provide ongoing quality assurance, together with the M&E team, and design effective evaluation mechanism.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A Bachelor’s Degree with four years relevant experience or Master’s Degree with relevant work experience;
- Minimum of three years’ experience in program management is required, preferably in the Financial Inclusion or related fields;
- Knowledge or experience working in the Financial Inclusion Network.
- Ability to plan, develop and implement projects;
- Ability to plan, develop and implement projects;
- Ability to budget and manage program expenditures;
- Ability to effectively communicate and express ideas (verbally and written);
