World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Manager in Philippines – Asia & Pacific.
The Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening WVDF’s relationships with World Vision international Support Offices, external grant partners and international institutional donors in the Philippines, and lead development and implementation of all necessary strategies, policies, and processes necessary to sustainably grow and maintain World Vision’s Philippines grant pipeline.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Manager will perform the following functions-
- Engage proactively in Senior Leadership Team, provide regular updates on progress, and facilitate cross-organizational ownership, contribution and decision making towards successful Grant Acquisition and Management (GAM).
- Manage IRAM unit staff including establishment and monitoring of staff performance frameworks and professional development plans to ensure quality team outputs; actively monitor and address staff performance issues.
- Establish and implement organizational GAM capacity building plan to ensure key staff across the organization are equipped with necessary knowledge, skills and tools to contribute effectively to successful GAM.
- Develop, implement and evaluate GAM business plan progress via monthly and quarterly reporting, provide regular updates on IRAM and organizational GAM performance to WV Regional Office and Philippines Senior Leadership Team in compliance with minimum management standards and policies.
- Carry out roles and responsibilities according to WV mission, vision and core values; and.
- Attend and participate in devotional meetings.
- Establish and lead the implementation of Philippines 3-year GAM strategy, in alignment with WV partnership GAM strategies.
- Establish, implement, review and regularly revise annual Philippines GAM Business Plans.
- Regularly monitor, track and report on progress against the GAM strategy and Business Plans to Philippines Senior Leadership Team (SLT), GAM Steering Group, and regional office; and.
- Establish, champion and ensure quality implementation of GAM business processes, policies, tools, templates and guidelines, in alignment with WV partnership minimum standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Masters in field related to international development.
- 5 years experience in successful proposal writing and management of proposal development teams, program design, grant acquisition and grant management for international development NGOs.
- 3 years experience in team management, track record of success in motivating teams and inspiring teamwork and of successfully training, mentoring and supervising grant staff.
- Track record of success in networking, partner and donor relations; and.
- Experience in project management with government and multilateral agencies grant funded projects and experience in grant compliance procedures for major bilateral (DFATD, USAID and DFAT) and multilateral donors.
- Experienced in development of complex health (nutrition, TB, HIV, maternal child health), resilience, education, child rights & protection and/or Income generation and Livelihoods grant project proposals; and.
- Experience in developing and managing complex grant project budgets and financial reporting, strong financial awareness.
- Working knowledge of the WV Partnership preferred and ability to interface sensitively with people from various departments in both field and support offices.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.
