Save the Children is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Information, Communications and Media Manager in Lesbos, Greece. The duration for the post is of 3 months.
The Information, Communications and Media Manager will work closely with the Regional Office to ensure that external messaging and image is consistent.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Information, Communications and Media Manager will perform the following functions-
- Lead the national communications department in delivering vital information and communication products for Save the Children’s humanitarian programming in Greece, that enable excellent media and fundraising activities for the country programme, members as well as across Save the Children International (SCI).
- Implementing a comprehensive media and communications strategy, ensuring smooth flow of information, good relations with visiting donors and the media, and high-quality reporting to showcase Save the Children’s activities and achievements.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an NGO environment, including experience directing and coordinating programs both emergency and development contexts.
- Proven experience of managing the production of communications materials (including information management) for INGOs or other similar organizations in humanitarian crises.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of different audiences including donors, journalists and the ‘general public.
- Ability to support and manage the communications team in high-pressure situations, with changing deadlines and priorities.
- An initiative-taking, proactive, inspiring attitude with the ability to manage and priorities an unpredictable workload, work with a large network of colleagues remotely, and solve problems quickly with limited support.
- Willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodating in difficult working circumstances.
- Experience with design and audio-visual software an advantage.
- Master’s Degree in communications, or related field.
- Experience working in humanitarian context with Refugees and Migrants or in a context with transient populations.
- Working knowledge of Arabic, Farsi and/or Greek language.
