Creative Associates International is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Program Associate in Washington DC, United States.
The Program Associate will work closely with the field team, as part of the HQ team, and as needed contributes to technical aspects of program design and implementation.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Program Associate performs the following functions-
- Provides daily technical, financial and administrative support to the project team in the field.
- Supports key personnel in the field.
- Supports project Consultants by developing and monitoring agreements, coordinating travel and logistics, and facilitating payment requests.
- Reviews and processes project-related documentation including invoices, ensuring program files and transactions are compliant, properly documented, and organized.
- Assists in the preparation, tracking and realignment of project budgets, and prepares quarterly financial reviews and projections.
- Contributes to the preparation of quarterly, annual, and final reports, and other deliverables as required.
- Conducts supplementary research in support of project activities.
- Acquires intimate familiarity with contract requirements, deliverables and budgets.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with partner and/or donor organizations related to the program.
- Maintains working knowledge of company administrative, financial systems, and operating procedures; and.
- Travels to project sites as needed.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s Degree in an area relevant to this employment opportunity.
- 3-5 years of prior work experience with experience working on elections a plus.
- Previous project backstopping experience, preferably for a USAID funded project.
- Prior experience in international development, ideally in a donor-funded project setting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor program and proposal budgets.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Solid organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and to multi-task under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple supervisors.
- Ability and willingness to travel to high stress environments such as Somalia, South Sudan, etc.
- Familiarity with or knowledge of best practices in electoral programming.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft programs (excel, power point, MS project, etc.).
