World Vision International (WVI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Marketing Strategy Director in Monrovia, United States. The duration for the post is of 2+ years.
The Marketing Strategy Director will be accountable for the private cash funding model and strategy for core ministries globally to ensure that high potential marketing strategies exist that will meet the funding needs of our core ministry programmes today and into the future.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Marketing Strategy Director will perform the following functions-
- Bring together Ministry Leaders, SO Marketing Leaders and other GRD leaders to create a clear picture of funding needs in the near term.
- Develop high potential marketing strategies to meet those funding needs.
- Work with Ministry Leaders in Community Development to understand funding needs in the future.
- Work with SO Marketing Leaders to develop high potential marketing strategies for future funding needs.
- Lead a cross-coordination team of marketing specialists within WVI and SOs from time to time.
- Coordinate planning and execution to align with strategy and meet the needs of key audiences across World Vision.
- Manage direct report, vendors on projects, and the Strategic Marketing and Change budget, while leading an extended “dotted-line” team.
- As a member of the senior leadership team in Strategic Marketing, will contribute to wider objectives around sponsorship, best practice and global brand.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Exceptional relationship and influencing skills.
- Exceptional intellectual ability – a clear strategic marketing thinker.
- Significant experience in leading change in a complex environment.
- 10-15 years in marketing, fundraising or related role, including 5-7 years at a senior management level with demonstrable success in achieving growth.
- Ideally minimum 5 years of experience leading a marketing function within one of the largest World Vision Support offices and / or Minimum 7 years of experience leading a marketing function within a global organization.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in strategy or marketing.
- An active Christian faith.
- Strong marketing and strategy skills with working knowledge of change management principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to win the confidence of a broad range of different stakeholders including leaders from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to guide, edit and assure clear, brief and compelling written and visual communications.
- Ability to synthesize complex concepts for a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience of working in a global and multi-cultural environment.
- Effective in written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
