International Organization for Migration (IOM) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Procurement and Supply Officer in Kyiv, Ukraine. The duration for the post is of 6 months.
The Procurement and Supply Officer will supervise all procurement and logistic activities for the mission, in particular Emergency and Stabilization related procurement and logistics.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Procurement and Supply Officer will perform the following functions-
- Ensure local procurement and logistics procedures are in place and followed in accordance with the Organization’s regulations and procedures.
- Develop guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures to complement or to adapt the general procurement and logistics instructions of IOM, taking into consideration the volume of activity and specific needs of the mission.
- Guide and supervise all Procurement and Logistics staff in Kyiv and IOM Ukraine’s various field locations.
- Implement Mission oversight and strategic planning for procurement, logistics and other technical matters in the mission in close collaboration with other departments of IOM Ukraine (programmatic units), related units in Manila and Geneva.
- In particular, prepare and implement comprehensive procurement plans, taking into account strict adherence to deadlines, priorities, and availability of financial resources, operational feasibility, procurement modalities, and alternative scenarios.
- Liaise with all IOM Ukraine operational and support units to ensure that each unit’s procurement requirements are met in an efficient manner.
- Undertake duty travel as necessary to IOM Ukraine field offices.
- At the request of the CoM, represent the IOM Mission procurement cell when interacting with the Global Procurement and Supply Unit, other IOM Missions/Departments and partners, such as the UN OMT.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience.
- University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional
- Substantial field experience in procurement and logistics support to emergency and/or post conflict/transition/early recovery efforts.
- Strong combination of training and experience in the field of procurement and logistics, and solid experience of working in complex environments.
- Superior organizational skills, confident user of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, training and information management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of IOM procurement and logistics rules and procedures.
- Fluency in all relevant IOM PRISM procurement-related modules.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Working knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian is an advantage.
