Chemonics International is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Communications Assistant in Mexico City, Mexico.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Communications Assistant will perform the following functions-
- Write project progress reports and success stories for submission to USAID.
- Assist the Communications and Outreach Specialist in his responsibilities to improve JPV’s strategic communications.
- Provide outreachthrough traditional media outlets and social media.
- Write press releases and other communications to inform and engage stakeholders.
- Help in the research, design, coordination, and development of communications materials such as video, web, print, and others.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or journalism.
- Minimum three years of experience in similar work, supporting projects of similar scope in Mexico.
- Experience in communications for social development projects, preferably in violence prevention, citizen security, criminal justice system, social entrepreneurship, and/or youth-at-risk.
- Excellent writing skills and experience with content management systems and social media management tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic/editorial design and video production software.
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
- Fluency in English or near native English required.
