Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Associate Legal Operations Administrator in Manila, Philippines.
The Associate Legal Operations Administrator will be responsible to support OGC’s services with respect to ADB’s borrowing transactions and debt issuance programs, derivatives transactions and agreements, investment transactions, treasury support services and other related matters.
The ADB aims for an Asia and Pacific free from poverty.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Associate Legal Operations Administrator performs the following functions-
- Works independently on all or a combination of the following tasks and/or clearly defined areas under the supervision and guidance of supervisors.
- Provides analytical, technical, and administrative support in preparing, reviewing, finalizing and processing, as applicable, documents used for issuances under ADB’s debt issuance programs, particularly, by ensuring that terms and conditions are accurately reflected consistent with ADB’s interest, and closely coordinating with external and internal parties.
- Specifically, considers and recommends appropriate provisions in view of the jurisdictions involved and relevant payment mechanisms and clearing requirements.
- Assists in preparing letters or applications for government and regulatory and internal ADB, approvals.
- Provides analytical, technical, and administrative support in reviewing marketing materials which may be used for particular types of issuances in local markets (such as Uridashi transactions in Japan), particularly by ensuring that terms and conditions are accurately reflected consistent with ADB’s interest, and closely coordinating with external and internal parties to ensure timely completion of such documents.
- Provides technical and administrative support in updating existing or establishing new debt issuance programs.
- Coordinates with external and internal parties regarding ADB’s compliance with the requirements of relevant stock exchanges and regulatory bodies.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with Master’s Degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years working experience in a relevant field.
- Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level.
- Experience in documenting bond issuances and derivatives transactions would be highly advantageous.
