Key Job Responsibilities
The Accountant will perform the following functions-
- Post detailed entries for accounting records and prepare standard journal and ledger entries.
- Perform financial monthly close processes for D Implement.
- Prepare periodic financial and management reports to the D Implement management/team.
- Prepare draft project specific financial & management reports for clients before Partner review and submission to the clients.
- Drive and ensure timely reporting both internally as well as externally to D Implement clients.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and provide information for periodic audits.
- Review submitted expense reports for approval for the D Implement team.
- Coordinate the timely filing of statutory returns and payments as necessary in the different countries the platform operates.
- Preparing client invoices and following up on collection as necessary.
- Reviewing and obtaining all Accounts Payables for timely payment.
- Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate rates as necessary.
- Other Tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Undergraduate degree in B.Com.
- A minimum of CPA 3 or its equivalent.
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar role.
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in working with people from different cultures and different offices are desirable.
- Interest in international development.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and perform well in a start-up atmosphere.
- Friendly and professional personality and demeanor.
- Experience with IT and various Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
