Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Program Integration Lead in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.
The Program Integration Lead will be responsible for analyzing and integrating all in-country programs to ensure that these are consistent with the CPF, the thematic priorities of the GGGI – water, energy, green city, and land-use, and the directions of the GOP.
GGGI is dedicated to supporting the transition of GGGI Member countries towards a green growth model by developing and implementing strategies that simultaneously achieve poverty reduction, social inclusion, environmental sustainability and economic growth.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Program Integration Lead will perform the following functions-
- Integrate, monitor and update the progress of outputs/activities of all Country Team project initiatives to ensure that these are harmonized and that activities and outputs are on track in terms of quality, timeliness and contribution to expected outcomes.
- Develop and maintain an Integration Framework and Monitoring and Evaluation System to facilitate coordination across various in-country activities and related initiatives from other GGGI Units.
- Prepare, update and maintain a Consolidated Work Plan (CWP) covering all Country Team project initiatives, in coordination with the designated Project Managers of said project initiatives, to facilitate reconciliation with the approved Work Plan and Budget and ensure alignment with the CPF.
- Prepare Consolidated Progress Reports (CPR), based on the updated CWP.
- Integrate all Country Team project initiatives and its related functions in Knowledge Solution Division at HQ.
- Coordinate with the concerned GGGI Units to respond and prepare corporate reporting requirements, among others.
- Formulate and disseminate Strategic Communications Materials to key audiences and stakeholders to enhance awareness about Country Team initiatives.
- Coordinate with the concerned Project Managers and provide technical assistance to support the implementation of project initiatives.
- Conduct analysis and provide expert knowledge relevant to Country Team project initiatives.
- Develop technical proposals and reports.
- Manage designated in-country initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the Philippines Country Representative.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Climate Science, Public Administration, Business Management or any discipline related to the assignment.
- An advanced degree is an asset.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in project management and in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems preferably in relevant areas (e.g. Climate Change, Environmental Sustainability, Economics, Public Policy, Investment and Financial Analysis, Project Finance, etc.).
- Operational familiarity with relevant initiatives of the GOP.
- Experience working in related national or local projects an advantage.
- Knowledge of global and national issues and directions in the area of climate change and green growth.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and maintain a Monitoring and Evaluation System.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage a varied set of stakeholders coming from varied cultural and national backgrounds.
- Proven maturity to exercise initiative and respond to problems to meet targets.
- Resourceful and ability to develop and operationalize strategies to achieve objectives and outcomes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
- Basic knowledge of Filipino is an asset.
