Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Program Integration Associate in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.
The Program Integration Associate will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to facilitate the delivery of Country programs.
GGGI is dedicated to supporting the transition of GGGI Member countries towards a green growth model by developing and implementing strategies that simultaneously achieve poverty reduction, social inclusion, environmental sustainability and economic growth.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Program Integration Associate will perform the following functions-
- Provide technical and administrative support to program/project implementation.
- Supports the development and implementation of one or multiple component(s)/work stream(s) within a country program and provides technical input to deliver a portfolio of services under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Render initiative to anticipate and address implementation issues and bottlenecks under the guidance of the Integration Lead, or the designated Country team staff.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through regular coordination.
- Acquire, process, and share lessons from project implementation experience to support the development of a knowledge database.
- Familiarize with the programs and activities of the Country Team and the GGGI through review of relevant documents.
- Participate in meetings of the Country Team and the concerned GGGI units to acquire practical appreciation of the various work streams and the internal guidelines relevant to his/her work.
- Prepare a work plan to effectively manage assigned tasks and use the same for monitoring and reporting accomplishments.
- Independently render technical service in terms of preparing quality reports, proposals, correspondence and the like under minimal guidance from the Program Integration Lead, or the concerned designated staff of the Country Team.
- Provide a variety of administrative functions as may be required.
- Exercise diligence and initiative in performing and completing a variety of tasks as may be required.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Climate Science, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance or any discipline related to the assignment. An advanced degree is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in work related to project management, monitoring and evaluation preferably in relevant areas (e.g. Climate Change, Environmental Sustainability, Economics, Public Policy, Investment and Financial Analysis, Project Finance, etc.).
- Very good understanding of basic office management and administrative procedures (i.e. financial management, etc.).
- Familiarity with relevant initiatives of the GOP.
- Experience working in related national or local projects an advantage.
- Knowledge of global and national issues and directions in the area of climate change and green growth.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare well-written and comprehensive technical documents (i.e. Reports, proposals) and with sound analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage a varied set of stakeholders coming from varied cultural and national backgrounds.
- Proven maturity to exercise initiative and respond to problems to meet targets.
- Resourceful and able to develop and operationalize strategies to achieve objectives and outcomes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
- Basic knowledge of Filipino is an asset.
