International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Human Resources and Operations Director in United States.
The Human Resources and Operations Director will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function.
IBCTI missions to improving the operational efficiency and management of public and private sector enterprises.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Human Resources and Operations Director will perform the following functions-
- Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the agency’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures agency’s compliance.
- Maintains responsibility for agency compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Communicates changes in agency personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
- Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of agency wage and salary program.
- Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the VP Finance, on personnel matters.
- Supervises the staff of Operations and Human Resource department.
- Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for international office operations.
- Manage ongoing development, assessment and implementation of all personnel policies and procedures.
- Liaise with the COP & Project directors to ensure compliance with HR practices.
- Manage process and provide coaching/training for performance reviews and employee relations.
- Administrative duties in human resources and operations.
- Any other duties/tasks as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development, Business Administration, Communications, International Affairs, or any other related field or equivalent of four to 15 years’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge and be current with all relevant employment related laws; Experience with developing a HRIS for a staff of at least 50 people.
- Ten years of professional experience with at least 10 years of progressive and hands-on HR generalist experience and 3-5 years supervisory experience.
- Working experience with USAID contractor or International Projects.
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, benefits administration, organizational planning and development, employee relations, safety, training and development and office administration.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS programs.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully participate on senior management teams that provide leadership and strategic direction.
- Excellent analytical skills and good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated results orientation, flexibility and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) required.
- Native fluency in the English language is required; a working competence in another language is desirable.
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail.
