International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Business Development and Technical Consultant in United States.
The Senior Business Development and Technical Consultant will provide business development and technical support to the Global Health Practice.
IBCTI missions to improving the operational efficiency and management of public and private sector enterprises.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Senior Business Development and Technical Consultant will perform the following functions-
- Support business development efforts including, but not limited to:
- Assisting/supporting overall proposal management of entire proposal(s) and request(s) for information (on specific business opportunities to be identified by IBTCI).
- Formulation of written components of proposals (technical and/ or non-technical sections).
- Draft technical approach of proposals in technical areas- M&E and others.
- Provide subject matter skills by performing program management tasks on specific task orders and/ or contracts. Tasks could include, but not be limited to:
- Technical review of deliverables.
- Performance of administrative and operational tasks.
- Design or provide assistance in the design of performance management systems and evaluation methodologies and tools.
- Conduct analytic tasks/report writing tasks on evaluation projects.
- Provide M&E training services.
- Provide expertise on project support as needed.
- Provide technical expertise on M&E activities.
- Design project evaluations, assessments and related studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Master’s degree or above in Public Health, International Affairs, International Development, Policy Analysis, Economics, Public Administration, Statistics/Social Research or other relevant area.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of foreign assistance activities.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in program management of foreign assistance or donor activities.
- Expertise in at least one of the M&E-related activities such as impact analysis, performance evaluation, statistical analysis, instrument design and management, M&E training and capacity building.
- Demonstrated experience in global health (e.g., HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, maternal, neonatal and child health, communications, health systems strengthening, etc.).
- Experience designing M&E performance plans for international development projects.
- Experience in all aspects of the proposal process: capture strategy; partnering and teaming; research; recruitment; proposal writing and review; support to development of cost proposals.
- Overseas experience working on global health programs and/or projects.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) required.
- Demonstrated results oriented, flexible and problem solving skills.
- Fluency in the English language is required and a working competency in another language is desirable.
- Fluency in French highly desirable, but not required.
