Save the Children is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Programme Operations Manager in Serbia. The duration of this post is 3 months.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Programme Operations Manager will perform the following functions-
- Share in the overall responsibility for the direction and coordination of the emergency response programme in Serbia.
- Ensure efficient and effective response inclusive of quality leadership in planning, implementation and monitoring of all response programming in-country.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- At least 10 years experience in an NGO environment, including experience directing and implementing programs for children in emergency contexts and development context preferably with solid experience in more than one of the Save the Children priority sectors: Shelter, protection, emergencies.
- Recognized leadership role in relevant technical areas at both field and country level.
- A general appreciation of the issues concerning the NGO sector, both development and humanitarian issues.
- Good analytical skills. Effective negotiator, with the ability to positively influence cross departmental and cross sector working.
- Credibility to lobby, influence and represent Save the Children at all levels.
- Resource management, training, capacity building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming teams, in emergencies.
- Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches.
- Ability to work within a team.
