Centre for Human and Community Development (CHCD)is a christian non-governmental organization. CHCD,in short,is a non-profit organization which came into fruition when five christian professionals in Ghana and a missionary from USA came together with a vision to balance spiritual development with both human and community development in Africa. Within the period of two years and over, we as board of directors have contributed in our own small ways as individuals to the activities and projects so far embarked upon by this organization. We are therefore seeking for donor support and funding for the projects, eradicate poverty within our earmarked and registered Districts of operations in Ghana. Missionary work, to fulfill the great commission in Africa, It recruits and develop Christian missionaries, train equip and raising funds to support Native missionaries and gospel ministers working in Africa which is one of the key areas of CHCD and other projects – i.e ICT which is one of the key areas of CHCD and other projects – i.e ICT Education, formal and non formal education, embark on a micro-finance scheme which seeks to enhance governments unemployment and poverty, to organize entrepreneurial training to upgrade the knowledge skills and altitudes of SME such as Hairdressers, Seamstress , Artisans, Wood cavers petty traders and so on, to provide education and health facilities to the urban and rural dwellers in Ghana and Africa, to embark on sanitation programmes such as, urban and rural cleanliness projects and waste management policies and strategies for development and CHCD will pursue development agenda in partnership with its clients (civil society organization etc) by working to improve circumstances and prospects of disadvantaged people such as, prisoners, orphans, and the sick in the hospital beds HIV/AIDS patients We are looking for Donors and other Partners to fund and support out project.
