Disability – Rights of PWDs Pro-Vision is an intermediary capacity building organization promoted by a team of intervention specialists and working through network of NGOs for the integrated development of the community in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, India. The core team at Pro-Vision, relies on its long experience with national and international resource agencies and grass-roots level NGOs. It was registered in 2002 and incorporated as a Trust under the Indian Trusts Act (1882).
Vision: Professional Excellence in Collective Development Initiatives.
Mission: Promotion of integrated development among the economically vulnerable and socially excluded people, through Community Based Research, Human Resource Development and Organisational Development initiatives through network of Non-Governmental Organisations and in collaboration with the Government.
Objectives: The Trust has been promoted with the objective of facilitating integrated development of the economically and socially vulnerable and excluded by enhancing the capacity of development agencies especially NGOs, developmental professionals and the resource systems by evolving evidence based sustainable development strategies and perspective plans.
