The International Youth Foundation’s “YouthActionNet” program has launched the Global Fellowship Program. Under this program, applications are requested from young people, between the age group 18-29 years, who are making positive changes in their communities around the world. Eligibility criteria also includes that the applicants should be either founders/co-founders of organizations or projects with the organizations “with a demonstrated one year track record of leading societal change.” There will be 20 fellowships for the young social enterprenuers under this program, which will involve a year-long training on skill-building, networking and advocacy. Applicants should commit one year participation in this program. Applications can be submitted online. The deadline for submitting the completed applications is 20 April 2009.
