Established in 2004, the Global Labour University (GLU) is supported by a number of international organizations and institutions including the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Hans-Boeckler-Stiftung (HBS), the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ). Students from almost 50 countries have studied in masters programs offered by the GLU.
The GLU now invites applications from students for admission in global masters programs that have been designed by universities from around the world. These programs are designed for the students who have experience in labor and social movements and are willing to assist organizations in these fields to engage more effectively in social dialogue, public debate, and policy implementation.
