AWDF supports efforts that combat harmful stereotypes, and promote African women as active agents of change.

Goal

AWDF aims to build up an autonomous base for gender equality and development, supporting movements and initiatives of women that ordinarily do not have access to mainstream sources of funding for reasons of capacity, language, geographical location, and marginalization.

Transformation and Development Centre is a very young organization founded in 2013 with a thematic vision of empowering women and girl child especially widows. We are interested in applying for the women grants for empowerment and livelihood but your eligibility criteria says the applying organisation must be 3 years old. Since this organization only started in 2013, are we qualify to apply and if not, what do you have for very young organizations like ours which are working to see the rural women empowered especially the widows?

    Thanks and God bless you.
