African candidates commencing postgraduate studies in Australia in 2015 are invited to apply for the Australia Awards Scholarships (Masters-level awards) and mid-career professionals to apply for short-term training program under the Australia Awards Fellowships.
The focus sectors for Masters Scholarship Awards are – Agriculture and Food Security; Health; Natural Resource Management including Mining and Mining Governance; Public Policy; and Water and Sanitation while the Australia Awards Fellowships program targets to develop appropriately trained current and aspiring leaders in priority areas, who, in short-to medium-term, will be in a position to advance key regional policy objectives and increase institutional capacity of partner countries.

Eligibility Criteria
- For Scholarships, applicants must be commencing masters-level studies in 2015.
- For fellowships, applicants must be current and future leaders and mid-career professionals, who will be in a position to advance priority foreign affairs and development issues.
- Applicants must be proficient in English language.
