Seeking Papers for China-Africa Think Tanks Forum to discuss on Chinese and African Common Interests: Current Issues and Future Perspectives in Governance, Peace and Security in Africa.
The Forum promotes a frank and unfettered dialogue on China-Africa relationships. It intends to promote dialogue on real issues and challenges in an interactive and unique way, avoiding the typical conference standards of lengthy presentations and broad declarations on common interests. The Forum will bring together 80 participants, 40 from China and 40 from across Africa. Participants will be selected by the two co-hosting institutes through a predetermined process. The objective of the Forum is not simply to create dialogue but also to generate serious policy recommendations on China-Africa relations.
Abstract–

Papers may fall within, but are not restricted to, the following sub-themes-
- China-Africa cooperation in developing governance, peace and security in the new global era: opportunities and challenges
- China-Africa common interests in governance, peace and security: consensus and differences
