Gatsby Foundation has funded and implemented programmes in Africa since 1985 with the overall objective of creating jobs and improving incomes for poor people. The foundation is now focused on accelerating inclusive and sustainable growth in East Africa. To achieve this, foundation is intended to demonstrate innovative and ambitious approaches to transform key sectors, such as cotton in Tanzania.
