The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is pleased to offer funding opportunity for Marcia Silverman Minority Student Award in USA. This program is offered to study journalism program, public relations studies or courses preparing for a career in public relations.
Award-
The winner will be presented at the Annual Awards Ceremony during the PRSSA National Conference. The honoree will receive a $5,000 scholarship, payable to the winner’s university for use on his or her behalf. Money must be used to fund the winner’s educational pursuits.
Eligibility-
- Be enrolled in a journalism program, public relations studies or courses preparing for a career in public relations.
- Be entering your senior year of undergraduate studies this fall.
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Be of African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native American, Alaskan Native or Pacific Islander ancestry.
