Partner with CGAP on a Customer Centricity Project

The Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) invites proposals from branchless banking service providers interested in improving uptake and use of financial services by poor and underserved people through a customer-centric approach. CGAP is supporting businesses in the financial inclusion sector to do the same.

CGAP is a global partnership of 34 leading organizations that seek to advance financial inclusion. CGAP develops innovative solutions through practical research and active engagement with financial service providers, policy makers, and funders to enable approaches at scale.

Eligibility Information

  • CGAP is particularly looking for proposals from Africa and Asia given its focus on these regions.
  • Financial service providers of any type (bank, MNO, retailers, agent network managers, other) using digital channels (mobile phones, ATM, POS, etc.) may apply.
  • CGAP is seeking partners who are motivated about learning and delivering a customer experience that truly meets the needs of poor and underserved families.
