TrustAfrica and OSISA Call for Proposals – Assessing the extent and impact of illicit financial flows in key economic sectors in Southern Africa

The TrustAfrica, in partnership with Open Society Initiative of Southern Africa (OSISA), is accepting proposals for the “Assessing the extent and impact of illicit financial flows in key economic sectors in Southern Africa” project.

The purpose of this Call for Proposal (CFP) is to solicit proposals from various organizations, individuals and/or consortiums to undertake in-depth research studies on how resources are being illicitly transferred in the following sectors:

  1. Agriculture
  2. Mining
  3. Wildlife and Tourism

TrustAfrica will award a total of three research grants (one per each economic sector). All proposals must be submitted with an accompanying budget outlining all fees and costs. The budget should not exceed US$40,000.

Bidders should also provide the following items as part of their proposal:

  1. Description of experience undertaking research of a similar nature
  2. Resumes of key staff/personnel available for the project
  3. One sample research paper/report
  4. Proposed timeframe for completion of the project
