The next Livelihoods Camp will be held at Burkina Faso from 2-5 February 2015. To encourage the participation of farmers and people directly involved in family farming, the contest Farmers have Talent is open. The contest will promote the best initiatives, both big and small, which have contributed to the implementation of efficient solutions to sustainably improve the production and livelihoods of farming communities. This is a platform of promotion, enrichment, and the sharing of existing initiatives that have already produced tangible results.
You can win an all-expenses paid trip to the Livelihoods Camp in Burkina Faso by participating in the contest!
The Livelihoods Camp will bring together more than 150 actors involved in the sector of sustainable family agriculture: NGOs, farmers’ organizations, economic and political decision makers, farmers, researchers, and other renowned field experts.

Eligibility Criteria
- Participants can be an organization, an association or a cooperative.
- Participants must have initiative that has produced results relating to one or several of the 4 themes of the contest mentioned above.
- The initiative, whether big or small, must purpose efficient practical solutions. Its impacts should have already been visible. The results must be tangible and they can be shared with other organizations in order to inspire them.
- The initiative must be replicable. It can be adapted to other geographical regions or domains. In particular, it can be relevant to African agriculture.
