AUF’s vision is to make our programme visible to youth, which will advance our Country Development and offer hope nationwide. AUF focus on Youth’s future.
AUF offers range of health awareness services and education programmes as well as news publications and materials on HIV/AIDS, Rape, Sexual abused, subsstances abused, Teenage pregnancy, family planning and Domestic and Youth Violence. Our services is also dedicaated to help transform the lives of many disadvantaged and less priviledged people through various training and motivational projects. On the training programme the topics that are covered include: After School Club and Recreation, Raising awareness on Domestic and Youth violence, e.g. “dating violence”, raising awareness on alcohol and drug use, awareness on teenage pregnacy and prevention, HIV/AIDs awareness and prevention, beads/adire making, tailoring/designing, hairdress, ICT training, seminars and conferences, All will be delivered by field specialist in language that young people and families can understand.
Goal:
The goal of these services is to improve understanding of the best ways to support the health and education of young people through research and training, prevent the cause or avoid high risk behaviour.
