The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) recruits and sends volunteers to programs and projects in developing countries. It designs the programs for volunteers under which the recruitment takes place. Since each program has different needs, the support provided to selected volunteers also varies. However, ADRA ensures towards provision of transportation, housing and living assistance to volunteers. Volunteers need to commit at least one year of their time so that effective impact is generated from the program. ADRA accepts resumes from individuals interested in volunteering any part of the year, but it will revert back only if an opportunity arises and the individual is found to be suitable for the task.
