African Development Initiative was established as a local Non Government Organization with the objectives to support development programmes through, providing and promoting effective management of resources, enhancing basic health care, providing emergency relief operations, and promoting democratic governance.
African Development Initiative mission is to improve the livelihood of the population through timely and sustainable interventions that enlist the active participation of all stakeholders. Its vision is a country where all the population especially the disadvantaged groups will have access to improved and sustainable livelihood. African Development Initiative has worked as partners with United Nations agencies(UNHCR and UNWFP), Multi-national organisation(EU), and International agencies(GTZ and DED) in areas of Development and Humaniterian operations. These areas include programmes on sustainable agriculture development,Income generating activities, skills training, infrastructure development, and relief operations.
