Work done so far by Concern for Humanity …
Since its inception, Concern for Humanity has been able to impact the lives of over 2000 children who did not have access to schools or were school dropouts by providing them the opportunity of a bright future through education. So far Concern for Humanity has been working for the integrated development of the poor and deprived communities. In short period of time it has established a small but firm footing. It has implemented education programs for poor deprived children in rural areas of Haryana as well as in slums of Delhi – for street children, for children of daily wagers, for rag picking children. We were proud partners of Mewat Development Agency (MDA), Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA), among other donor agencies.
At present CFH is working with poor and vulnerable children in the age group of 5-14 years. CFH is running learning centres in slums and villages of outskirt of south Delhi and extending remediation support to these children so that these children may cope with their studies in schools. At these centres the children are provided free education. Special emphasis laid on the holistic development of these children through extra – curricular activities. In this endeavor we have received funding assistance from national as well as international funding agencies. We have been fortunate to have received generous support from the corporate sector.
