The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) has invited applications from qualified and deserving candidates for the job/vacancy of Capacity Building Director. The location of this lob will be based in Asia.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years professional experience in managing and implementing capacity building activities for civil society organizations/non-governmental organizations in developing countries;
- Work experience in Southeast Asia;
- Ability to develop and sustain close relationships with partner organizations, funders including USAID, host government officials, and a wide range of national and international NGOs;
- Must be fluent in English; regional languages a plus;
- Able to analyze the training needs of participants and prepare and conduct trainings and workshops;
- Strong prior experience in overseeing capacity-building and grant-making operations that can be adapted to emerging opportunities and trends;
- Senior level management experience preferred;
- Master’s degree in international development, social sciences, or other related field.
