This post will support the delivery of DFID India’s mission and priorities by representing DFIDI in MP, will contribute towards management of projects along with other thematic and programmatic responsibilities based on the team’s business plan. The post-holder will report to the Programme Manager, Poorest States Team.
Overall Objective
2.1 This post will support the delivery of DFID India’s mission and priorities by representing DFIDI in MP, will contribute towards management of projects along with other thematic and programmatic responsibilities based on the team’s business plan. The post-holder will report to the Programme Manager, Poorest States Team.
2.2 You will represent DFID in MP, communicate policies and priorities to stakeholders; help develop relationships with key interlocutors in the state. You will be responsible for leading and managing the state office in Bhopal, and contributing to management of projects as agreed with Programme Manager. In particular, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to DFID procedures in management of the state office including managing 3-4 staff.
2.3 You will be a graduate, with experience in managing development programmes or regional offices in bi-lateral/multi-lateral agencies, the NGO or corporate sector.
