WHAT IS THE FOUNDATION FOR HUMAN HEALTH SOCIETY (HUHESO-FOUNDATION)?
Found in the year 2009 as supportive group of Infected/Affected families. The group was serving the neediest families affected by AIDS. The Foundation for Human Health society Infected/Affected by AIDS is a Foundation of marginalized people and community based organizations dealing with HIV/AIDS issues human rights abuse, reproductive health to adolescents/youth.
Our primary goal is to lead disadvantaged groups into development process in Tanzania and play constructive role in uniting their efforts and potentialities in society, therefore HUHESO-FOUNDATION strive to promote dignity, equitable access to social services and resources for development and enhance Children, Youth, Women and disabled people competence. In doing so HUHESO-FOUNDATION ensures sustainable behavioral change, HIV Prevention programs and promotes Children, Youth, and disabled people entrants in HIV/AIDS campaign. We also endeavor to ensure friendly services, confidential and quality delivery of health services in accordance with the ethics and principles.
HUHESO-FOUNDATION is committed in supporting Vulnerable and marginalized group especially most Vulnerable Children (Orphan) Adolescent, woman, Widows, people living with HIV/AIDS and disabled people (special need) to restore the dignity of the marginalized groups whom some of them have under gone torture, humiliation, harassment and eviction so as to enable them pursue and realize their personal rights and development opportunities. Tanzania just like many societies worldwide has witnessed human rights abused. In this Particular case; Children, Youth and Women. The abuse of Children, Youth and women in our society are through domestic violence, assault, eviction and child abuse (including child labour, defilement, female genital mutilation and forced adolescent marriages) the barbaric acts are escalating at alarming rate and the situation is worse where it found that the victim is HIV+.
Therefore HUHESO-FOUNDATION is interfering to avert the situation.

1.2 MISSION STATEMENT
To improve the lives of Children, Youth and Disabled creation of shared vision, languages and understanding by addressing needs of vulnerable groups through facilitating coordination, complementary inputs, supporting partnership and the Foundation.
2.0 STATUS
The Foundation for Human Health Society Infected/Affected by AIDS is legally registered as a Non-Government, non profit, non political and non denominations, but a voluntary Foundation which devoted to carry out its aims and objectives accordingly.
The Foundation is registered to carry out its activities in mainland Tanzania with registration No. S.A. 16535.
3.0 AIM
3.1 The aim of The Foundation for Human Health Society Infected/Affected by AIDS is to empower the ability of marginalized and vulnerable groups in responding effectively to HIV/AIDS improve their quality of life and facilitate to sustainable behavioral change.
3:2 OBJECTIVES
3:2.1 To empower and strengthen the ability, creativity, skills
and self esteem of marginalized groups, Children, Orphans, Youth, Women, Widows, Disabled and People living with HIV/AIDS to respond effectively to HIV/AIDS impact.
3:2.2 To address the issue of Stigma and Discrimination for
infected/affected people which brings fear of discrimination
3:2.3 To reinforce, promote and advocate for Children, Youth
& disabled on the provision of Accessible/affordable, friendly and improved quality of Health Care Services especially treatment for Opportunistic Infections and ART
3:2.4 To establish centers for training and development of human cares for Children, and Vulnerable group affected/infected by HIV/AIDS.
3:2:5 To coordinate and promote welfare, development of Children born in areas surrounding minicenters whose parents died or left the mining center because of dismissal all end of terms.
3:2:6 To promote the imperative integration of HIV prevention
with Care and Support for infected/affected Children, Youth and Women for sustainable behavioral change.
3:2.7 Advocate for the social rights of Orphans Vulnerable
Young Children (OVYC), Youth, Women, Widows, Disabled people and People living with HIV/AIDS in collaboration with other legal service providers
3:2.8 Advocate for reduction of infants and maternal
mortality rates
3:2.9 Promote and sensitize the community utilization of
Health Care facilities, VCT and prevention Program of
mother to Child transmission
3:2.10 To improve welfare being of Children, Youth Women
and People living with HIV/AIDS through sustainable
Home Based Care Programs and Psychosocial support.
3:2.11 To empower the marginalized groups in income
generation and self-employment in its strategy to eradicate poverty among communities.
3:2.12 Capacity building to like minded organizations
institutions, firms, industries and individuals groups on the field of HIV/AIDS, Nutrition, Child rearing and Youth guidance, Survival skills, Reproductive Health, income generating activities, Organizational development and management system.
3:2.13 To identify and support new leadership for capacity
strengthening, new partnership in the Foundation.
3:2.14 Provision of Consultation services on issues surrounding
health, Orphans Vulnerable Children & Youth (OVCY),Project Designing, Planning, Monitoring & evaluation, also Mentoring AIDS Organizations, Skills Training on Health, Life Skills, HIV/AIDS and ART
3:2.15 Promotions of work places, in & out schools Sensitization
and Education on SRH/STIs/HIV & AIDS prevention Program.
3:2.16 Addressing issues of food sufficiency and food security
to overcoming Infant and Child malnutrition
3:2.17 To ensure the family and Community needs and rights
of their HIV/AIDS affected Young Children (Pre-natal 0-7 yrs) are well addressed in planning implementation of programs
3:2.18 To promote gender equality and empowerment of
Children, Youth and disabled people in all socio-economic and access to Primary Health Care
CULTURE AND VALUE
The Foundation for Human Health Society Infected/Affected by AIDS embraces a culture of “equity, equality and participation” Building on its extensive experience with community based participatory approaches, HUHESO-FOUNDATION is integrating assessment that requiring a blend of various techniques to find out what people knew about HIV/AIDS, HIV/AIDS related treatment, what they want from treatment services, what they thought constitute good practice in health services, what role PLHA groups they should have and what their priorities were for getting involved with and sustaining HIV prevention, treatment, care and support.
HUHESO-FOUNDATION is ensuring that affected families, neighbors, friends and communities came to understand more about HIV and to be less afraid of the virus so to eradicate stigma and discrimination around HIV/AIDS in the community making it easier to educate on HIV prevention. Also the organization ensured the following.
• Occur within approaches of comprehensive Care linking to other HIV/AIDS efforts such as HIV prevention and Psychosocial support
• Responses situated within a continuum Care. Involving effective communication of information support and resources between a range of sectors and people including PLHA, communities.
• Based upon appropriate attitudes, skills and behaviors of those providing and receiving services and ensure an ethical approach to health services.
• Activities involve people with HIV (Children, Youth, Women disabled group), their families, Community members and leaders.
• Ensure available and accessible treatment, HIV prevention services and commodities where possible integration existing services so that to make the best use of scarce resources.
• Where appropriate, adopted to the needs of specific populations particularly those who are marginalized by society.
• Have foundations in the assessed needs of the community, organizations and policy environment.
• Based upon strong, strategic decision by beneficiaries followed by careful monitoring and adoption of their work.
• Prevention planning focuses on realistic and achievable interventions through assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the work that needs to be done.
• Sharing best practices with other actors and key stakeholders.
• Working in long term, sustainable partnership with communities that we serve.

OUR CURRENT STRENGTHS AND SUSTAINABILITY
The Foundation has formed by members who are committed and devoted to volunteer and spare their time, efforts and ideas to ensure the sustainability of the organization activities.
Our endeavor to expose the Foundation to resource providers and having vision and mission that regards our work. Also having recognized office from where we operate, and the high quality governance and Organigram are some of factors that we will feel contributing to strong existence that highlights our strengths and sustainability.

1. Improve quality of life of infected/affected children, Youth, Women and disabled people through –
• Psychological care/spiritual care.
• Material support for OVC/MVC
• Awareness on Treatment, Care and Support, (treatment of opportunity infections, ART and Microbicides).
