The Mass Oriented Research and Social Elevation Lab (Morsel) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit service provider to social science researchers in India and abroad. We provide expertise in the areas of survey design and implementation, campaigns, training and randomized control trails. Our research methods and services emphasize quantitative methods in policy analysis, development and rural planning. We maintain a rich database on social, political and economic data. Our clients have included government ministries, government departments, private sector companies, international agencies and universities. Morsel was established on June 16, 2007 and registered under Registration Act of India, 1860, but the Morsel team has been active in research and data collection since 2005. Since then, our team has been engaged in collecting primary data from field surveys as well as secondary data from various government agencies. Our main office is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. We also have an extensive team of investigators and facilitators spread throughout the rural parts of northern India, Bihar and Panjab.
