National Youth Week is an annual, week-long celebration of young people (aged 12–25) throughout Australia which gives participants an opportunity to express their ideas and views, and act on issues that affect their lives.
Each year, all over Australia, events are planned and organised to celebrate and recognise the contribution of young people. In 2015 more than 20,000 young people from across Victoria participated in National Youth Week activities.
National Youth Week is a great way to recognize the achievements of young people and to celebrate their contribution to communities across Victoria.
Grants Information
In partnership with the Australian Government, the Victorian Government is providing National Youth Week grants of up to $2,000 to fund events that celebrate and recognize the contribution of young Victorians to their community.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, young people must be working in partnership with a local council, community organization or school.
